What Does Black History Month Mean To You This Year?
Finding the words and the power to be unapologetically black is the poster mood for what Black History means to me this year. I've been really digging into black history the past few months, reading lots of books and watching documentaries. While I've always known that black people have influenced nearly everything in society, my level of awareness of just how much has reached an all time high this past year. Black folks are dope, and will continue to be. I want us all to shine, and get our props... it's time.
