Beth is the Owner + Principal Designer of the boutique interior design firm, Diana Studios based in the NY Metro area. She spent several years in corporate finance honing her skills in project management, after attaining a Bachelor’s in Business and a Master's in Accounting. Eventually her love and appreciation for beautiful things, cultures, patterns, and colors led her to her passion of interior design. With time spent nurturing her creativity, building her brand, and attending the New York School of Interior Design, Beth was able to focus on her design aesthetic. Beth is also the Founder + CEO of Passionistas, a lifestyle organization dedicated to the support and empowerment of female entrepreneurs.
What Does Black History Month Mean To You This Year?
This year, it means a celebration of black people who have made amazing contributions to the lives of others from civil rights, to medicine, to art. It is also a reminder that creatives have the opportunity to make a significant impact to our culture. Black people continue to face injustices to this day. That is why it is so refreshing to take the month of February to focus not only on the greatness of others, but to remind ourselves that the choices we make have the ability to become our legacy. A legacy that can have a life-changing impact on others.
What Is On Trend Right Now?
It's all about big art with big sayings in unexpected places. Inspiration should be everywhere for a creative and an entrepreneur. So I start my day with a reminder to focus on what I want in the long term, and not get sucked into what I want right now.
